Twitter Lead Generation Strategies

over 500 Million Tweets sent per day,
it makes sense to include Twitter Lead Generation Strategies into your marketing mix.

In order to make the most of your Twitter Lead Generation Strategies, it is important
to get your Twitter Profile Banner and Bio set up correctly.

As your Banner is the first point of contact, it needs to have the following critical components to increase your chances of getting the most Follow-Backs as possible.

By so doing, you will encourage your followers to do further research on you and check out your
other social media accounts, which is a good thing.

Firstly, Your Brand or Mission Statement, which is a brief message outlining what you are all about.
For example, mine is “Helping Entrepreneures Get More Leads and Sales With Real Business Strategies”.

This should answer the “What’s in it for me?” question for your potential followers.

Next, you want to include your Blog URL and also links to your other main social media accounts.
I include my Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and LinkdIn.

Even though these are not “clickable” in your banner, people will use them to track you down.
Your Bio, needs to have the following two elements to again ensure the most possible
follow-backs and click throughs to your capture/optin page.

Again, you want to clear communicate “What’s in it for me?” to your potential followers and prospects.

As my target market is struggling Network Marketers and Home Business Owners,

Secondly, you will notice that I use the dynamic URL

which I have forwarded to offers that I change from time to time.


Notice that this is different to my blog URL.


The fact that this URL is clickable, your followers do not have to go to your account, so this is very powerful indeed!

You will also want to include your Blog URL in your Bio as well.

Who to Follow and Unfollow


In order to gain targeted followers I recommend following followers of specific accounts in your target market.

Again, as I am in the Network Marketing and Home Business niche, it makes sense that in order to maximize my Twitter Lead Generation Strategies by following people who are followers of major companies in the Network Marketing niche.
Anther example would be ‘celebrities’ in the home business niche, for example Todd Falcone and Eric Worre.

Now, it is important to note that if you have less than 2000 followers, you do not want to follow more than 200 people per day.

By following 200 people per day, a percentage of them will follow you back so this is a great way to organically grow your follower base.

Only about 20% of people will follow you back, so you also need to unfollow 200 people a day.

To make the process of following and unfollowing a little easier, I use a software called StatusBrew.

By using this tool, you can complete this process in as little as 15 minutes per day.


To automate the actual Tweeting process, you will want to write 350 unique tweets and save them in a CSV file and then upload them to Hootsuite

(I explain exactly how to do this in the video above)

With less than 10 000 followers, you should not schedule your Tweets closer than half an hour apart
to avoid being penalized by Twitter.

Once your cycle of 350 Tweets has gone out, you will want to “clean up” you tweets
so that you can restart your lead generating machine!

Since Twitter does not allow duplicate Tweets, you will need to delete the previous 350 Tweets,
so that you can reload your CSV file back up in to Hootsuite and start the process again.

You do this by using TweetDelete.Net, this is simple to do and is just a matter of following the prompts.


As I mention in the video above, the purpose of using these Twitter Lead Generation Startegies,
is to generate the lead by offering them some value via your Capture Page.


The idea is to then grow your relationship with your leads over the Phone or Autoresponder.
