This one is THE most important of all the Innovative Recruiting Ideas out there, and that is to simply attempt to recruit people every day! It never ceases to amaze me how often I hear people say that they are struggling to grow their businesses and when I ask them, how many people they actually talk to about their business each day, I get a blank stare! Recruiting is a numbers game, if you are not getting any No’s, you sure as hell are not going to be getting any Yes’s! It will not matter which Innovative Recruiting Ideas I share with you, if you do not implement and try them out! Just start today and you will get better!
Remember, You can’t say the Wrong thing to the Right person and You cannot say the Right thing to the Wrong person!
This next one is one of my favourite Innovative Recruiting Ideas and can be used with your cold market, after you have broken the ice and started building some rapport.
I like to use this one, as I am exiting a conversation and it goes like this:-
“…..look, I have to run to……….(meeting, pick up my kids etc) but just throwing it out there, would you be OPEN to a side project if it did not interfere with what you are currently doing?”
Some points to note, the wording here is important. Use “Open” and Not “Interested” it’s a subtle psychological point, people often “not interested” but everyone wants to be “open”
If they respond positively, with “sure” or “what is it” then you say
“Great! I don’t have time right now as I have to run but let me get your contact details and I PROMISE I will call you and give you all the information you will need”
This works really well! Again a lot of psychology happening here.
When you say “I promise….” It implies that you are giving them something of value and they will more often than not give you their contact details.
You can then follow up at a convenient time.
You MUST remain in control of the conversation at all times and by doing it this way will help you get the most out of Innovative Recruiting Ideas like this one.
If by chance the person gets nasty, or aggressive saying “come on just tell me” or “is this one of those pyramid things” or the like. You simply say, look I have to run as I said and it does not sound like you are open anyway, which is fine, I will see you later.
You then leave in a powerful, postured way!
Next on my list of Innovative Recruiting Ideas that I would like to share with you is to simply ask questions!
Your mantra should be “Connect with the lead and find their need”
So with this in mind, when your prospect says, they are “open” to having a look, you job is not done, keep digging for their Need.
Ask “ Just curious, why are you open? What has changed in your life recently that makes you Open to look at ways to make extra money right now?”
Here is where they will give you all the ammunition to recruit them.
For example they may say. “I need money for my daughter’s wedding” “To put my kids through college” “Retire my spouse” you get the idea.
This allows you then to respond with ,……………… and this is Pure Gold!
“Based on what YOU have said, you may want to check out this video (or whatever tool your company uses), BECAUSE it will show you exactly How You Can earn extra money to pay for your daughter’s wedding”

Again this is extremely simple and easy to use and will get you great results, just like all the other Innovative Recruiting Ideas that I have shared BUT in order for them to work, you have to use them!
Just like anything, the more that you use them, the better you will get at it and you will find yourself using these Innovative Recruiting Ideas
As a matter of habit.
Back to the “Feel, Felt, Found” method. This can be used for either prospecting or objection handling, which both fall under the Innovative Recruiting Ideas umbrella.
Let’s first look at it in the prospecting sense. Once you have probed for their need and they have expressed that they need to make extra money so they could quit their job and spend time with their kids for example.
Here you can say, “I know how you Feel, I Felt the same way, I hardly saw my kids until I Found this opportunity that changed everything for me…..”
Or as an Objection handler:- The prospect may say ”These MLM things never work…”
You can say, “I know how you feel, I felt the same way until I Found a way to generate leads online, which changed everything for me and my business”
