Does Advertising on Facebook Work?

In a nutshell, the answer to the question, Does Advertising on Facebook Work, is yes.

That being said, there are some important points to consider.

Whether, you are Using Facebook for Recruiting or as part of your Social Networking Marketing Strategy it is absolutely imperative that you abide by Facebook’s strict advertising guidelines or else you will risk getting your account shut down

I can tell you from personal experience that this does happen and without warning too!

Does Advertising on Facebook Work for Lead Generation?

I have had a lot of success generating leads on Facebook by using simple boosted posts as well as setting up ads through the Facebook Ads Manager as well as the Facebook Power Editor.

The things to keep in mind are that Facebook prefers that you use Native Advertising which is where you create an ad that will take your prospects to a blog post for example rather than straight to a sales page.

When doing this, you want to make sure that the images and text that you use on your ad are congruent with the image and text that you use on your destination page where your prospects are taken to once they click on your ad.

I can stress enough, just how important it is to follow Facebook’s guidelines.

Never use words or phrase that include “ MLM, Network Marketing, Multi Level Marketing or even Home Business” as your ads will not get approved.

Does Advertising on Facebook Work for Making Sales?

Again, the answer to this question is most definitely yes.

The same rules as above apply! You will get the best results by having your ads take your prospects through a sales funnel which gives them value in the form of a lead magnet first.

By providing value like this upfront reduces resistance with the prospects and allows them to grow to Know, Like and Trust you.

Remember, people like to do business with people, not companies as a general rule.

Does Advertising on Facebook Work to Grow Your Brand Online?

Quite simply, Yes! As long as you follow the rules and guidelines as discussed above, you will have great success growing your online brand using Facebook Advertising.

The mere fact that there are 1.4 Billion people on Facebook proves that it a great platform to grow any business whatsoever is you follow the rules and guidelines and use a little common sense!

    Awesome post Clive!

If you play by Facebook’s Rules you will never have to worry about your ads getting approved.

The big one for me is doing Native Advertising and directing them to a blog post…
